VolunteersOpportunities
The Novi Bobcats Youth Football and Cheer program is an all-volunteer organization. It is mandatory that all parents of football and cheer participants volunteer for game day activities, committees, and/or fill other volunteer positions such as board members, coaches, and unit directors. All participants must complete the volunteer form when they register for football or cheer. You can find the volunteer form in the download section on the right.
Board Members
The Novi Bobcat Youth Football Association has the following board positions, which are all volunteers and are voted in yearly at the first board meeting following the season:
- President - Craig Howell
- Director of Football - Eric Smith
- Treasurer - Julie Moore
- Cheer Director - Lisa Stabler
- Secretary - Sara Twomey
- General Manager - Open
- Equipment Manager - Byron Lang
- Football/Cheer Registrar - Sandy Pinkerton
Coaching Staff
All Novi Bobcat football and cheer coaches are volunteer parents or community members. Each unit (freshman, junior varsity and varsity) has a head coach and several assistant coaches. The Director of Football/Cheer determines Head coaches with input from parents and board members. Head coaches and assistant head coaches are expected to be at all games, practices, and team related functions. If the head coach is to be absent, the head coach and the Director of Football/Cheer will designate an assistant coach to be in charge. Head coaches are responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing all football and cheer related matters for their team.
