RegistrationFOOTBALL AND CHEER OPEN REGISTRATION FOR THE 2012 SEASON.
Registration will be open in March 2012 for the 2012 football season. All registration inquiries and correspondences should be directed to Karen Welch, registrar. See "Contact" link for email and phone numbers.
Football and cheer participants must complete: registration form and physical form (dated after April 15, 2012 and due before first practice). Fees for returning participants must be submitted with their registration and received prior to the deadline date to avoid losing veteran status. Failure to do so will result in the player being placed on the waiting list.

PARTICIPATION FEES FOR THE 2012 SEASON:.
$TBA - Football (ages 8 - 14)
$TBA - Cheer (grades 3 thru 8)
$TBA - Flag Football (Ages 6 and 7)
$TBA - Mascot Cheer - (2nd grade) Families with three or more children participating in the Novi Youth Football and Cheer Program will receive a $50.00 discount on the third child. All checks should be made payable to Novi Bobcats.
Refund Policy is full refund minus a $50.00 administration fee, per person, if one cancels after the registration period. After August 1st, there will be a $100.00 non-refundable fee plus a $100.00 jersey fee for football and $65.00 for cheer. No refunds will be given at all after games begin and no refund will be issued until all equipment is returned. Fees for checks that are returned for insufficient funds will be the covered by the participant’s family.

NEW PARTICIPANTS
All Novi Bobcat football players and cheerleaders must reside within the Novi School District’s geographical area. Individuals that attend private schools, are home schooled, and/or live in Northville but still reside in the Novi School District’s geographical area will be considered. An age-based lottery takes place to select participants for available openings on each team, if necessary. Siblings of Bobcat players receive first priority.
A high level of commitment is required from both parents and children involved with football and cheerleading. Novi Bobcats is a parent-run, volunteer organization. Parents are expected to volunteer during games and/or activities. All football and cheer participants must complete the registration form.
PHYSICAL EXAM
A physical exam is required of all participants in order to participate and must be completed after April 14 during the 2012 calendar year and prior to the start of practice. The physical form must have the date of the exam on it and be signed by a physician. No one will be allowed to practice without a physical form on file with the organization. Any health care form can be used or use the MHSAA physical exam form. |
